Our Dietitian’s Choice
"NEW for 2024!!! It is recommended that a healthy, balanced diet should include at least 2 portions of fish a week, including 1 portion of oily fish. Oil rich fish like salmon are full of Omega 3. Omega 3 is from the branch of "healthier fats" that are essential in the diet, and may help protect the heart and blood vessels from disease, In addition, oily fish are a good source of Vitamin D. This fishcake, comprising of both oily and white fish is oven baked on site with no added oil at cooking stage.
We take sustainability seriously in Torfaen - as part of our commitments to our environmental responsibilities, we only use fish that is MSC certified, so allowing pupils to tuck in knowing that they are helping protect our oceans, livelihoods and fish stock of the future."
