Torfaen Outreach Service
Torfaen Outreach service provides support for young people within their schools and support for staff working with pupils as part of a graduated response.
They work in a person-centred way and offer a coordinated approach in collaboration with a wide range of multi-agency partners to identify the next steps towards the desired outcome for the pupil.
The outreach service provides targeted intervention providing schools with advice and guidance to help them build capacity and develop their knowledge and skills to plan and support pupils. They provide support for anxiety management, social skills, behaviour management, assessments, teaching and learning programmes and a variety of other interventions.
Schools can make direct referrals to the service. For more information, please contact the school’s additional learning needs co-ordinator.
