South East Wales Valleys Local Transport Plan

The South East Wales Valleys Local Transport Plan, which has been jointly produced by Blaenau Gwent, Caerphilly, Merthyr Tydfil, Rhondda Cynon Taf and Torfaen County Borough Councils, sets out the local authorities’ priorities for transport schemes in the five year period 2015 to 2020, and their medium and longer term aspirations up to 2030.

The document also sets out the councils’ policies for safe, integrated, efficient and economic transport facilities and services to, from and within their area.

Local Transport Plans across Wales have replaced Regional Transport Plans, which expired on 31 March 2015.
