Forthcoming Elections

The Council is responsible for organising all elections - for local County Borough Councillors, Community Councillors, Welsh Government Members, Members of Parliament, Members of the European Parliament and the Police Commissioner. We are also responsible for running any Referendums. Over the next few years we are expecting:

Torfaen County Borough Council

The next Torfaen County Borough Council Elections will be held in 2027.

Community Councils

The next Community Council Elections will be held in 2027.

Senedd

The next Senedd Elections will be held in 2026.

Members of Parliament

The next Parliamentary Elections will be held in 2029.

Police Crime Commissioner

The next Police Crime Commissioner Elections will be held in 2028.
