Find out how to help your children with maths at a series of free workshops run by Torfaen Council and Techniquest.
The Magnificent Maths workshops are aimed at pre-school children and pupils aged between 10 and 12 and will include lessons in counting and fractions, buying and building Lego racing cars.
It’s part of a new UK Government-funded numeracy programme called Multiply, which aims to help children and adults with maths in everyday life, such as helping with homework, managing a household budget or getting a job.
The pre-school Magnificent Maths workshops take place on:
- Tuesday 7 February 2023 at The Power Station, St Dials - 10:30am - 12:00pm and 1:00pm - 2:30pm
- Tuesday 14 February 2023 at Croesyceiliog Community Education Centre - 10:30am - 12:00pm and 1:00pm - 2:30pm.
The workshops for 10 to 12 year olds will take place during half-term:
- Tuesday 21 February 2023 at Pontypool CEC (The Settlement) - 10:30am - 12:00pm and 1:00pm - 2:30pm
