Ysgol Panteg

School Details

Ysgol Panteg is a Welsh medium primary school located in Griffithstown Pontypool.

It opened in September 2010 with 36 children. On the first day each child planted a daffodil bulb – and this is why there are 36 daffodils surrounding the school logo. The school logo shows two daffodils growing in a “pant teg” a fair valley.

The school’s mission statement is

“Meithrin meddyliau craff mewn awyrgylch cyfeillgar gofalgar diogel a Chymreig lle mae pawb yn cyrraedd ei lawn botensial.”
