Griffithstown Primary School

Griffithstown Primary School is nestled in the heart of the community.  A true hidden gem, the school is accessed at the end of Florence Place and opens to reveal a landscape of extensive playing fields bordered by the canal and fields of Panteg Cricket Grounds.  Following extensive remodelling and extension Griffithstown Primary School has the capacity for two classes per year group, each year group being organised in flexible learning environments.  Outside there are dedicated areas for foundation phase access to outdoor play, a forest school area, two large fields and playgrounds.  Indoors the hall has been extended and dividing doors added to allow two activities to take place simultaneously.  This provision allows for a variety of sporting and health/recreation activities for al children.  The school community serves children from the ages of 3 to 11 and has the capacity to provide places for 420 children, with a 52 place nursery which operates both morning and afternoon.
