The Highway, New Inn, Pontypool, NP4 8HW 

Opening times 

Cemetery gates will be opened and closed at the following approximate times: 

  • British summer time: open 9am - closed 7pm
  • All other times: open 9am - closed 5pm

Getting there 

Parts of the cemetery are accessible by car, with parking available near the chapel. Do not drive or park on the grass.

Pontypool and New Inn Railway Station is nearby 

The cemetery is near National Cycle Route 49, 492 and Monmouthshire and Brecon Canal tow path cycle trail. 

Additional information 

Panteg Cemetery is closed for new burials. 

Interments can take place in existing graves. 

Cremated remains can be scattered in the Garden of Rest with permission from the cemetery service. Contact the cemetery office for more information or to arrange. 

The chapel is closed and not available for hire due to ongoing issues with damp and electrics.
