Torfaen Youth Alliance
The Torfaen Youth Alliance is made up of representatives from local secondary schools and members of 17 different young people’s organisations.
It aims to identify common issues for most young people and potential solutions which will be passed onto the council.
The Torfaen Youth Forum is one of the forums involved in the youth alliance.
Members meet three times a year.
The work of the alliance is shaped by the council’s Children and Youth People’s Participation Strategy.
It is supported by a steering group of the following organisations:
- Crownbridge School
- Cwmbran Centre for Young People
- Home Start Cymru
- Llais
- Melin and Bron Afon
- St Giles Cymru
- TOGS Centre
- Torfaen Play Service
