Volunteering in the Countryside
If you are enthusiastic about our landscape, its wildlife and history and enjoy practical activities while being outdoors you might be interested in volunteering with one of several groups of volunteers or organisations in Torfaen.
Torfaen Countryside Volunteers
Volunteers provide essential support for Torfaen Council’s Countryside Rangers and help to maintain and manage the borough’s footpaths, local nature reserves and woodlands. This is a great way of getting involved in improving your local environment and experience the health benefits that active volunteering can bring.
If you are interested in becoming a countryside volunteer, call Mark Panniers on 01633 648035 for more information.
