Greenmeadow Community Farm has unveiled a packed programme of activities to celebrate Mother's Day and Easter.

On Sunday, March 15, all mums will be able to visit the farm for free as part of the farm's Mother's Day celebrations.

The Easter fun will kick off with a special launch weekend on 28 and 29 March, featuring live entertainment, food trucks, crafts and a host of family‑friendly activities.

New falconry displays will also run on selected dates throughout spring.

And of course, visitors will be able to meet the farm's newest arrivals, including lambs, chicks and piglets!

Jac Griffiths, General Manager at Greenmeadow Community Farm: “We’re incredibly excited to head into the spring and summer season and to see the farm truly bouncing back following the redevelopment.

“It’s been an amazing journey to get to this point, and we can’t wait to welcome both new and familiar animals back into the paddocks as the site continues to come to life again.

“We’ve got some fantastic events planned for the summer, and we’re really looking forward to welcoming everyone to experience the farm this spring and summer season.”

This week, toddler sessions made a welcome return to the farm.

The sessions are included in the admission price and feature Singalong with Liz, a lively and interactive music and movement activity that introduces early learning through song, dance and play.

In March, the 30‑minute sessions run at 1pm on Friday 6, Tuesday 10, Wednesday 18 and Tuesday 24.

The popular Farmers Table restaurant is also looking forward to spring with a new Sip & Paint evening on Friday 13 March, from 6.30pm to 8.30pm. Spaces will be limited.
