Over the next two years, she will work across a range of different teams while studying for a Certificate in Housing.
She said: "It is a great opportunity to learn while gaining invaluable experience.
"Everyone on the team have been so welcoming and made me feel at ease while starting in the role. They share a wealth of knowledge and experience that I have already been able to take a lot from. I'm looking forward to what is to come within my role and develop professionally within the field."
Alongside Lucy were Jasmine Ward, project management apprentice; Lacy Russell, business administration apprentice; Nia Price, systems and performance apprentice and Iestyn Kerr, finance apprentice.
Chief Executive Stephen Vickers welcomed the apprentices on board and wished them every success on a long career in public service.
