Residents will start receiving their new red recycling bags this week.
The bags will be delivered to households over the next few weeks and you're asked to start using your new bag straight away.
The red bags will be used for plastic, cans, tins, and cartons and will be collected weekly, alongside black boxes, cardboard bags and food waste bins.
Glass, paper, batteries, and textiles will continue to go into the black boxes.
Residents will receive an information leaflet about what to put inside the red bag, as well as a guide to the council's full kerbside recycling service.
Councillor Sue Morgan, Executive Member for Waste and Sustainability, said: "The new red bags contain more than the black boxes and create extra space in the boxes themselves.
"Most of us produce more recycling at Christmas than at any other time of the year, so we'll be working hard to deliver the bags to make sure you can make the most of the extra recycling space when you need it most."
The bags will have resealable lids - similar to the blue cardboard bags - which will reduce the risk of items falling out or being blown away.
You can either keep any spare black boxes, give them to a neighbour or take them to the Household Recycling Centre in New Inn.
In 2023, 87 per cent of people who took part in the Raise the Rate survey said they would be prepared to separate their recycling.
