Diverse Minds Torfaen

Diverse Minds Torfaen Banner

Diverse Minds Torfaen celebrates how we are all different. We have natural differences in how we think, learn and act, in addition to the various combinations of traits, skills and qualities that make us who we are. This is neurodiversity.

The group also offers opportunities for employees to discuss neurodivergent conditions such as dyslexia, ADHD, autism and so on. The focus is around how people experience these conditions in the workplace, sharing strategies to alleviate some of the challenges, and recognising the positive aspects of these conditions.

We provide tea, coffee, biscuits and a relaxed, safe environment where these emotive and sensitive topics can be discussed.

Whether you are neurodivergent or not, these conversations are extremely valuable and enable us to learn more about how our colleagues experience the workplace (and the world), and how we can all be open-minded, supportive and understanding of each other.

All welcome to attend! You must have permission from your line manager, as the groups take place during work time.
