Our Dietitian’s Choice

Our Quorn Vegetarian Fillets are a delicious and nutritious plant-based option, offering a great source of protein and fibre while being low in saturated fat. Tasty, satisfying and packed with goodness, they're an excellent choice for pupils looking to enjoy a meat-free meal as part of a balanced diet.

Served with a generous selection of seasonal vegetables, this colourful meal provides valuable vitamins, minerals and fibre to support healthy growth and wellbeing. Pupils can also enjoy both fluffy boiled potatoes and our popular roast potatoes, which are oven-roasted without added fat for all the flavour and crispness of a favourite side dish.

Combining wholesome ingredients with great taste, this balanced meal delivers the energy and nutrients pupils need to stay fuelled, focused and ready for an afternoon of learning. A hearty, nutritious vegetarian choice that's as satisfying as it is delicious.

Sustainable School Meals

Lower Carbon Impact Choice

All our menu options have had their carbon footprints assessed using methodology developed by researchers at the University of Edinburgh. Based on this analysis, the Quorn fillet meal is associated with approximately 80% lower greenhouse gas emissions than the pork sausage meal available on the same day.

Meals based on plant-derived proteins typically have a lower environmental impact than those based on animal proteins. For pupils and families looking to make small, practical changes towards a more sustainable diet, the Quorn fillet meal offers a substantially lower-carbon alternative while continuing to provide a nutritious, satisfying and enjoyable school lunch.
