The council's leasing scheme helps provide more homes for people who are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless.
If you are a landlord, you can lease your property to the council. We will use it to provide homes for single people, couples and families.
What you get
If you join the scheme:
- you get a guaranteed monthly lease payment
- the council manages the property for the full lease
- we pay you every 3 months in advance by bank transfer
Lease payments
The lease lasts for 5 years. The lease payment stays the same for the full lease.

At the end of the lease
At the end of the 5-year lease, we will return the property to you in the same condition, apart from normal wear and tear.
